The Associated Clinic of Psychology offers several ways to make an appointment. You can call and speak with a scheduler, email us, or fill out the online form. We accept cash, credit card (through the phone), and personal checks. We also offer flexible weekend hours for those working during the day. Personal checks are accepted at our discretion; you will need to call to confirm your eligibility and have your checkbook handy when you call.

If you are paying by check, please allow two weeks from your receipt date to process it before calling us again. At The Associated Clinic of Psychology, we never turn anyone away because they cannot afford treatment. Patients who cannot afford treatment may apply for a scholarship from one of our generous donors.

Our Location

The Associated Clinic of Psychology is conveniently located in the heart of the city. Just a block from the University of Chicago. We offer comprehensive services to individuals, couples, families, and groups from our offices on the second floor at 2221 S. University Ave., near downtown Hyde Park. You’ll find the reception desk and waiting area on your right as you enter.

Once past this area, you will be greeted by staff who can direct you to either of two therapy rooms. One that houses a couch and armchair and an open space designated for art therapy and playtime activities with children or adults alike. To your left are two private consultation rooms where patients may meet with their clinicians in private meetings without any distractions or interruptions.

Our team includes psychologists, psychiatrists, counselors, psychotherapists, and social workers with extensive experience working with clients.
